Bike Lanes aren’t a Charter right
Yesterday, a judge decided that the Government of Ontario cannot remove the bike lanes on Bloor, Yonge and University Avenue.
They basically said that bike lanes are a charter right.
This is ridiculous. Of course, bike lanes are not a charter right.
Making decisions about traffic are up to our elected governments, not the Charter.

The bike lanes on major streets like Bloor, Yonge and University, are creating serious congestion and contributing to the gridlock choking downtown Toronto. Customers avoid local businesses. Emergency vehicles are slowed. People are stuck in traffic, wasting time, fuel, and productivity. Going anywhere takes forever.
Toronto deserves traffic solutions that actually solve problems, not ideological projects that turn our busiest corridors into traffic traps.
We need your help to push back. Sign our petition demanding a more balanced, evidence-based approach to transit planning.
