Say No to City Council’s huge pay hike

Toronto City Councillors just voted themselves a massive 24% pay hike! They now make over $170,000. First they voted for a huge property tax hike and then they give themselves a raise.

We all pay more so they can make more.

According to Statistics Canada, the average income in the City of Toronto is $62,050. Councillors have now raised their own pay to nearly three times what the average person makes in a year.
